New President Same Vision

HELLO!

Saturday morning Pres. and Hna Callan started on their flight back to Utah.
Friday afternoon Pres. and Hna Agazzani and family landed here in beautiful Paraguay.
They are from Cordoba, Argentina. Have five kids of which 3 came with them and the other 2 are finishing this year of school before coming out. I will admit that the calling most talked about in our pension is to become the AC (assistant to the children) we would be baptizing all the time. teaching lessons at soccer practices and birthday parties would be amazing. Plus a lot easier to find families! hahaha i did have the opportunity to talk to Pres. Agazzani on the phone last night. a very energetic and social guy.  He doesn't speak any english or guarani so he had some difficulty saying my companions name and our area Ka´aguy Rory. don't worry one day i'll teach you all how to say it. We get to meet them all on thursday for a zone meeting for a couple of hours. i'm super excited!!

well this last week we were able to see a whole bunch of miracles and some great experiences. we went on divisions with an area called libertad. I was with Elder White from Logan, Utah, and my companion was with Elder Naef from Arizona City, Arizona. Me and Elder White had a great day found a lot of future baptism and wonderful people. A great elder with a wonderful desire to learn and to grow. Elder Naef is a new Elder and on his 6th day in Paraguay he got to go on divisions. From what i heard after it was a pretty fun experience. He is struggling on his spanish which will come along and my companion did the we gotta get somewhere walking speed for much of the day which was something new for Elder Naef and sounded like a great experience. Both wonderful elders who are going to see miracles.

Just so you guys all know there are 3 walking speeds. slow while walking with a contact. normal when looking for people. and fast when you need to get somewhere now. just so you know my normal speed before the mission was slower than the slow speed.

The biggest miracle this week was Nestor and Mirna. we have been teaching them for the last 2 months or so. they have gone to church multiple times and we were just lost on what else could be do to help them be baptized. we had taught everything and they had received multiple answers. we were working with the bishopric and our ward mission leader. the ward all loves them. so we got to the point after our lesson saturday that we were thinking we may need to stop visiting them for a bit. our visit on saturday we talked about everything and it just ended with me saying "Nestor, I love ya. You need to be baptized. Lets go i'll fill up the font right now." Now sunday after sacrament. we go and talk to them and they say that they have an announcement. In our heads all that we are saying is please please help them recognize the answer that they have received and say Yes. They said "we have decided to take the step and we want to get baptized on saturday." on the outside we were very happy and excited but inside it was the fourth of july firework finally! what a huge blessing! we learned that when we give everything literally everything that is when the Lord steps in and lends his helping hand. that night at a FHE he told the other investigators and the members his CONVERSION STORY!!!! it was so amazing.

The Lord really works miracles, one of those million is that Nestor and Mirna are getting married and baptized on Saturday. I can't wait. I am also learning about the atonement so much and repentance. i am truly becoming converted and learning how to live my life to be the man that God wants me and expects me to be. I love this gospel. I love my savior. The church is true i have no doubt.

love you all!

Elder Wilson
