well this last week was an absolute miracle week. we received so many mercies and blessing from the Lord. In the zone we had a ton of miracles. in the plans for this last week no one was getting baptized (that was on monday). this last week there were three baptisms in the zone!!! what a miracle!!! we are receiving so many blessings.
a fun thing is that ever since i got here for the first week or so i was sneezing a ton. don't know why but now its gone so tis ok. we were in a super spiritual lesson and i just felt a sneeze fest coming on. i said a little prayer asking God to help me stop sneezing so that i wouldn't be a distraction and the investigators could stay focused on the spirit that they were feeling. it was so amazing because immediately right after - my sneezing was gone and for the rest of the night as well. just shows more and more how God answers our prayers and helps us out in so many ways we just have to recognize it. i know that God answers our prayers and i am so grateful for that.
we had such a miracle when we on divisions. i went to an area called fernando de la mora to be with elder altoff (Missouri KC and yes he knows about arthur bryants) the area has been having a few struggles in the last few months so we went there with the mentality of we are finding someone today who is going to be baptized on saturday. we went around inviting everyone to be baptized being bold and calling them to enter into the Lords fold. it was amazing all of the miracles that we had and continue having. we then went to our last visit with a man whose only difficulty was tithing. we explained to to him and a miracle happened that he had received an answer and at the end of the lesson he said "so elder altoff, when is my baptism?" what an amazing miracle!!!!
my companion is helping me so much to reach my potential as a missionary. we are becoming more and more focused on being challenging and testifying missionaries. to invite everyone to come to Jesus Christ by being baptized into his true church.
this is the lords work and i am so grateful for it. sorry that this is a short email but i pray that it helps one of you in some way today and for this week. The mission is changing my life. i have a vision for who i want to become and what God expects of me. I am so grateful for the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and that i am His representative. how great is my calling. I would like to invite you all to invite someone to hear the gospel. if not now, when? if not us, who? this is His gospel and Christ is coming and we must help prepare our brothers and sisters to meet Him.
